We are four individuals attempting the challenge of riding motorbikes over 2600 miles from the UK to Casablanca and back. We're doing this to raise funds for The Honeypot Charity which provides care for underprivileged children in the UK. We depart for France on July 2 so the bike ride itself starts on 3rd: we aim to get to Morocco and back to northern Spain in under 6 days. To make the challenge tougher we'll be sleeping under the stars, and carrying all of our kit with us on the bikes.
Well spoke to the Guy at the Honda Dealer in my best Spanish and he can help them - the dealer is about 1 hour from their current location. When you’re in the poo – who do you call? - Good old Dad
ReplyDeleteOK boy pull up your trousers, were looking for some proper and useful ‘tools’ to get the Honda Trans Alp back on the road
ReplyDeleteHave sent you a text to forward on for when they reach the parts shop. Push comes to shove, you're looking for Moto Expert on +33 4 68 54 90 53.
ReplyDeleteI'll be around for the whole weekend (not like I have a choice!) so just shout if you need help when he gets there.
Just be grateful that this happened in France and not Spain, since I wouldn't have been able to help there!

Excellent news - Paul said he was gutted!! So glad there is a good old dad and someone that can speak French xxx
ReplyDeleteJason - and Chris (Hello) - were you hoping to persuade a young french mechanic to help by flashing?????
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks Dad whoever you are for helping. Jason remember Chloe can speak fairly fluent spanish and I think has some spanish friends in your direction if you forgot what you learned at college. love to all. xx
ReplyDelete16:10 Just spoke with Chris R and it seems that they are still at the France/Spain border - had a nightmare with the repair of the chain. They should be mobile in next 30 minutes.
ReplyDeleteGraham Round (Dad)
