We are four individuals attempting the challenge of riding motorbikes over 2600 miles from the UK to Casablanca and back. We're doing this to raise funds for The Honeypot Charity which provides care for underprivileged children in the UK. We depart for France on July 2 so the bike ride itself starts on 3rd: we aim to get to Morocco and back to northern Spain in under 6 days. To make the challenge tougher we'll be sleeping under the stars, and carrying all of our kit with us on the bikes.
YOU ARE MAGNIFICENT!!!! WAY TO GO GUYS! Now come home safely - and if you get too tired to drive safely then STOP and REST because you are much LOVED. from the Canadian support group. (aka jase's mum)
ReplyDeleteP.S. Jason have you had a bath / shower / wash / seen a facecloth / seen a comb (that's a plastic thing you use to groom your hair) or even looked in your rear view mirror in the last 3 days??????? mum
ReplyDeleteWell done!! Such a cool thing you are doing x Be safe and find somewhere decent to stay tonight xxx
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful mobile phones are - I shudder to think of life without them!
ReplyDeleteRupert here from work, I genuinely thought that at least one of you would have had to pull out by now and be heading home; but I was wrong, very well done for making it there! Now, from one that has ridden when tired and nearly regretted it (or perhaps lucky enough to regret it), remember, whatever you all have planned for Monday is much less important than sleep, water and food and as much as you need of all three, ride safe back home guys...
ReplyDeleteYippee, well done guys... the updates here have been comforting and worrying in equal measures!
ReplyDeleteI am so proud of you Simon (its been a little emotional in Bristol this evening)... we're all missing you, please take care coming home, I love you x
